Candlewood Suites Cookeville

This hotel is our all-time favorite. They make it so nice and comfortable to stay here. Cleanest rooms with the best amenities. We can't thank the front desk folks,for being the most helpful,courteous

I LOVE CANDLEWOOD SUITES!!! It's so amazing! Staff member Samuel welcomed us when we checked in, and Susan was there to pet my little dog and see us off when we left. Both cordial, competent, and helpful. They have thought of everything and then some to make a business or pleasure trip carefree - each room is a spacious pet friendly suite with full kitchen, including dishwasher. There is a pool, a gym, a laundry for guests, a snack and frozen meal room with free coffee, and you record what you take on a paper checklist with your room number. Who does that?! Walk down the hall a bit and you'll find a wall of glass doors. Behind them are items you can borrow, such as board games, popcorn makers, and puzzle books. Same price or a little less than anywhere else. IT'S THE BEST!!!

So I I'm so happy to say that I have found our go to place my husband's family is from Cookeville Tennessee. It was my first time being able to go and meet his Tennessee family, and I reserved the room at candlewood suites and could not have been happier. All the staff were so welcoming and kind and accommodating. We had done a little cookout using their gas grill and we just gave them a heads up that we were going to have about 10 people there for a cookout and they were more than happy to have us there and even offered to let us use a conference room if we did not have enough room. I feel like any other hotel would have not been very happy about several people cookout but I could not be more happy with how candlewood treated us the entire time we were there. We plan to take this trip every 6 to 8 weeks and you best bet we will be at candlewood every time we go. You can't beat the price we paid around 350 for the room for two nights but the fact that they have a full kitchen in each room saved us so much money. We went grocery shopping and got what we needed for the weekend instead of running on fast food the entire time. Our new home away from home

we have been here for over a month now (husbands work) & it has been FABULOUS. it has a full kitchen with dishes already in the cabinets , and a full refrigerator. the ONLY issue i've had here was the lady at the front with blond hair that usually works day shift, she lied to us and said we had multiple complaints ab our room which is very like surprising as we clean up every single day after 3 kids and the only thing they ever have to do is change towels and sheets, which i also strip for them and have ready to go to minimize their work. she said we had multiple complaints ab our room smelling & literally said she's gonna have to kick us out if we don't fix it. then when we extended our stay and asked them to clean our room while we were gone on our day trip, we came home late the next night the room wasn't clean, i had to go down late at night and ask the nice boy if we can switch our bedding out, and i changed my own sheets that night. nor did stay get extended, they had to come ask were we checking out. i love everyone else tho! the blonde lady made me feel a little anxiety to ask for simple things like toilet paper and such tho when she told me that and also told me she spoke to my husband ab the smell (she did not in fact talk to any of us). just avoid that one and the stay can be super great!

Wow, what a great place! I was honestly surprised by how nice it was. Everything was spotless, and the staff was fantastic. As an IHG member, I was given a welcome bag upon arrival with a bottle of water and chips, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was equipped with a full kitchen—stove, fridge, and everything you could need—plus a spacious bathroom. Overall, just an excellent stay. I will absolutely be staying here again on my next trip to Cookeville.

This is our first time at a Candlewood and we were impressed. The building is probably older since the AC unit looked my age, but other than that and the carpet having a bit of an odor everything was spotless. The room had a kitchenette and good sized bathroom. Night shift staff was friendly, didn't get her name. My only complaint was the mattress, which looked fairly new, was kinda stiff. No bugs seen. I'd definitely stay here again.

The best room ever, I felt like a queen! The beds & pillows were unbelievably comfortable. Very spacious, not a dirty spot to be found. Towels were plentiful, bathroom was pristine clean. The front desk clerk was friendly & very helpful(9/17/25 early eve). The only downside was no breakfast lol.

The hotel is close to the interstate, tons of restaurants, shopping, and the movie theater. My family always needs a reasonable room to stay in over Thanksgiving to visit family, and we were pretty thankful for Candlewood. Room was clean and spacious for our family of four with comfortable amenities. We also had a sick kiddo one night who got food poisoning and ended up getting sick all over the bed & floors. The staff quickly allowed us to move to a room right down the hall at 2am and were very kind & understanding. We will be back for next year. The only reason I didn’t leave a full 5 star review is because the room we ended being moved to smelled heavily of sausage and bacon. There’s a kitchenette in these rooms, so it was clearly a previous guest but it did make it a little less pleasant. Also, they do not offer breakfast, so that’s kind of a bummer.
